About Monkey 47
Crafted in Germany's Black Forest mountain range, Monkey 47 ranks among the most revered gins with enthusiasts and collectors. An exotic gin made with a molasses base, the 47 refers to the number of botanicals used which includes such unlikely fruit ingredients like lingonberries, blackberries, and honey pomelo.
There are two core expressions in the Monkey 47 range, the Schwarzwald Dry Gin and the Sloe Gin. In addition to this, each year the distillery releases a “Distiller’s Cut” – a one off limited edition focussed around highlighting a specific botanical.
