In Celebration Of NGV’s Summer Exhibition And Gala, CBD Hotel Unveils A Stylish Stay Package Alongside Bespoke In-House Activations And The Chance For Hilton Honors Members To Win

Melbourne, Australia – December 2025: Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street (HMLQS) is celebrating the arrival of the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV)‘s highly anticipated summer exhibition Westwood | Kawakubo with a series of fashion-forward activations and immersive experiences, designed for HMLQS guests.
As the official tourism partner of NGV, HMLQS guests can immerse themselves in the visionary world of fashion icons, Vivienne Westwood and Rei Kawakubo with the Westwood | Kawakubo Stay Package. The package includes overnight accommodation in a luxurious room, breakfast for two at HMLQS’ inhouse restaurant Luci, and exclusive tickets to the Westwood | Kawakubo exhibition at NGV, making it the perfect base for a culture-filled Melbourne stay.
A proud partner of the NGV Gala, Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street will also present a fashion display in the hotel lobby, showcasing three looks designed by RMIT University Bachelor of Fashion Design (Honours) and Master of Fashion (Design) students in collaboration with Levi’s®. Crafted entirely from reclaimed Levi’s® denim and worn on the red carpet at this year’s NGV Gala, the designs celebrate reinvention, sustainability and emerging local design talent.
On display from now until 19 April 2026, the exhibition features:
- Look 1 – Georgia Brookes, Oliver Layton & Carys Norwood – Dress, 2025, reclaimed Levi’s® denim
- Look 2 – Kemin Li, Jaiyi Chu – Skirt and top, 2025, reclaimed Levi’s® denim
- Look 3 – Ruichen Liu, Ziqi He, Georgia Boysen, Siena Piedd, Meghadipa Bhattacharjee – Skirt, jacket and top, 2025, reclaimed Levi’s® denim

Creativity continues in-room, with guests able to purchase paint-and-sip kits featuring fashion inspired artwork. The kits also come with a glass of sparkling wine, offering a playful, hands-on moment of creativity for guests to enjoy during their stay ($35, available via the front desk).
For those wanting to explore the city in style, HMLQS has also created picnic boxes ($55), complete with a mini bottle of sparkling wine, charcuterie, a French baguette, artisan condiments and a map highlighting Melbourne’s must-visit spots – ideal for a riverside or gallery-adjacent picnic.
The celebration extends to Luci, where a limited-edition cocktail menu takes inspiration from Westwood and Kawakubo’s bold sensibilities and appetite for reinvention. Each cocktail offers a playful nod to fashion, artistry and subversion, including:
- Island In The Sun ($23) – Ketel One Vodka, Havana Rum, Teremana Tequila, Disaronno, vanilla, Okar, cherry cola. A punk-era reinterpretation of the Long Island Iced Tea, inspired by 1980s rebellion and creative rupture
- 21st Century Remedy ($23) – Bulleit Bourbon, Cognac, raspberry, mint, sugar A modern, contemporary reimagining of the 18th-century Mint Julep, reflecting the exhibition’s theme of historical reinvention
- Smooth Sailing ($23) – Spiced rum, lime, orange syrup, sugar. A refreshed take on a cocktail first published in 1898, balanced with a citrus kick of orange and lime juice

Hilton Honors members can also bid points for a Hilton Honors Experience, offering a private guided tour of the Westwood | Kawakubo exhibition paired with a stylish city stay at Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street – a rare, behind-the-scenes way to experience one of the year’s most talked-about exhibitions.
Hilton Melbourne LQS is located at 18 Little Queen Street, Melbourne VIC, 3000, with the NGV just a short walk over the Yarra River. The hotel’s central CBD location is ideal for those wanting to explore what the city has to offer.
