‘Golden Age Of Travel’ Menu Returns To The Douglas Club
Following The Success Of Its Globally-Inspired Cocktails, Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street’s Inhouse Bar Unveils New Creations

Melbourne, Australia – September 2025: Melbourne’s most elegant cocktail bar, The Douglas Club, announces the return of its ‘Golden Age Of Travel’ menu, where guests will be able to enjoy a cocktail journey across the globe. Crafted in partnership with Scottish Distillers, Bruichladdich Whisky and The Botanist Gin, the new collection captures the spirit of far-flung destinations and timeless glamour, offering guests an elegant passport to discovery in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.
Available now until 31 October, each of the six cocktail creations ($21), draws inspiration from a different part of the world, from South America to the land down under and everything in between. The menu includes:
- Pico de Gallo – A playful twist on a martini uses a brine inspired by the fresh and zesty flavours of the classic Mexican salsa made with The Botanist Gin, pico de gallo brine, Noilly Prat
- Andrade – Named after one of the most important cocktails in Brazil and inspired by the novel Macunaíma written by the influential author Mário de Andrade, includes The Botanist Gin, mate tea, Sagatiba cachaca, Fernet Branca, lemon juice
- Ivrea – A blood orange based cocktail that takes its name from the Battle of the Oranges, the famous festival in the Italian city of Ivrea. Made with Bruichladich Classic Laddie, blood orange caramel, almond, cinnamon, lemon juice
- Baobab – Named after the African Tree of Life which represents strength, longevity and community – Bruichladich Classic Laddie, Amarula, rooibos tea, ginger
- La Dua – Translating to to pandan in Vietnamese, the fragrant and tropical cocktail is made with Bruichladich Classic Laddie, green Chartreuse, pandan, tapioca syrup, kidney bean orgeat, lime
- Larrikin – A cheeky, feisty cocktail, much like the term itself, Mountain Pepper, finger lime, wattle seed, soda
Or for guests finding it too hard to choose, the Around The World ($32) offers a choice of three mini cocktails, available for truly global taste.
